MENTAL HEALTH IN THE 21st CENTURY
"TREATING ALL KINDS OF MENTAL ILLNESS HELPS EVERYBODY"

The stigma of having any form of mental illness is starting to be reduced by many progressive societies, but still has a long way to go. Whether a mild chemical imbalance, post traumatic stress syndrome or debilitating brain disorders. All of these mental health issues are real and have become topics of everyday discussion. Talk helps break down the stigma, but aggresive action is needed worldwide to help make free treatment centers available for those that can't afford medicine or therapy. It is difficult to explain the toll mental illness takes on, not only the ill person, but the immediate family and society as a whole. I would like to see the World Health Organization (WHO) develop a digital virtual mental health clinic that can be accessed by all to give free basic mental health recommendations to anyone suffering from this illness. And also develop virtual support groups worldwide for the ill person and their families to help develop a treatment plan right for their specific situation. Imagine being able to help someone that is constantly depressed, or hearing voices, or even worse wanting to kill and terrorize others...just by taking a pill and talking to others. This kind of treatment is currently available and works. Many with mild and debilitating mental illness have already been treated and are now productive tax paying citizens. Not only will this help make the world healthier, it is the humane thing to do and will also help our economy. In my opinion, many that want to terrorize and kill others have some kind of extreme mental illness. Worldwide treatment of mental illness might even help reduce terrorism...
