ELECTING OUR
POLITICIANS
" THE
EVOLUTION OF FAIR ELECTIONS - SEPARATION OF CASH AND STATE "
The amazing development of true
free democracy in the modern digital age is
special because it creates a fair voting system for citizens to regularly remove elected
officials in a non-violent manner.
Most will agree that current voting systems in the free world needs to evolve to
reduce voting fraud and give more power to the people. Big
business and wealthy groups or individuals currently can influence
voting to create, adjust or eliminate certain laws or get certain
contracts. With current democratic election systems, the
highest bidder usually gets elected and will be indebted to those
who help them get elected.
Taking the money out of our democratic election system will help
voting systems evolve and improve the quality of life of all citizens.
Elected officials need to be able to run and debate other
politicians running for public office without taking money
contributions to fund their campaigns. The old way of politicians
going to the wealthy, the wealthy sponoring a politician and big business financing
political campaigns only corrupts and influences our elected decision makers.
New laws and regulations are important for the progress of society,
and should not be influenced by big money. If society removes
the money factor needed to get elected, than society will improve
our regular non-violent democratic election system. If our
elections can attract honorable people who truly want to help their
fellow citizens increase the quality of life for all citizens, our
elected officials will eventually become a valuable part of humanity. Only then will citizens have real control
of their government "of the people, by the people and for the
people".. Otherwise, the highest bidder will get
elected and will be indebted to those who help them get elected.
Demonizing the other party or political views only flames the
possibility of fear and violence. When the majority elected leader
has the support of all parties while in office, they have a better
chance to solve the problems of society. Even if the opposing
party does not agree with the elected policies, the majority voted
and we should see if the elected party makes life better or worse
for society. If better they (or the party) gets re-elected, if
worse than a different politician gets elected and we try all over
again. If opposing parties decide to take away their marbles
from the table, instead of voicing their opposing ideas in a
constructive fact based debate, then the negative-spin propaganda
machine starts and fear clouds society and the facts.
