HOPE FOR THE MIDDLE EAST...
TEACHING THE WORLD BY EXAMPLE?
"THE WORD IS
MORE POWERFUL THAN THE SWORD"
Is the Middle East developing free societies that include women?
Tunisia's peaceful demonstration for freedom and democracy was
the spark that ignited the freedom revolution in the middle east.
Egypt, the mother of the middle east, has taken the Tunisia's
success in changing their government through peaceful demonstrations
to a another level. I'm sure the world is very proud of these
citizens that risked everything to rise up and demonstrate.
However, if new governments implement the same old culture rules
that restrict women, then they choose a different path away from
freedom. The free world hopes to welcome many new Middle East
governments as important partners in promoting world freedom. This
is their once-in-a lifetime chance to become free nations.
Egypt has shown the middle east and
reminded all of us the power of peaceful demonstrations to
change the way people are ruled and governed in the 21st century.
Getting the freedom word out has been made easier than ever before
with the digital age. Although some non-free countries in
the middle east and all over the world will resist these peaceful
demonstrations for freedom with repressive blood letting, the word
is out and it is just a matter of time. The free world, UN &
NATO need to step up and and support these peaceful demonstrations,
and stop all relationships with non-free governments that put down
these peaceful demonstrations with violence.
We have also
recently witnesses the amazing birth of a new country, South
Sudan...and the free world wish for their new
government, new middle east governments and all nations to become
part of the world freedom tribe. The choice to have a free society or a gangster regime
ultimately comes down to the local citizens. If the majority
of citizens stop working, than the result would eventually be a new
ruling party (possible bloody civil war). Freedom is not easy and the majority
of citizens of each country must be willing to stand up and die for their
freedom like Egypt. Outside countries can only offer limited help in the internal fight
for freedom in other lands. These lands that have recently
changed rulers have a chance to create a free society run by the
people. These chances for real freedom do not happen often,
and I hope the new leadership of each country turns to the light of
freedom not the darkness of the past.
And the
UN & NATO need to create a quick-response emergency world police force
(NATO) and a
handbook guide for any new leadership to use in creating a secure
free nation (Freedom Building for Dummies). This would include
a collection of current free democracy templates and using these
option to create a new free nation with adjustments as needed for
each new free society. I think a standard tool that all new
free societies should use is the concept of money-free transparent
political public campaigns. All elections should be financed by
public taxes. I think this is one of the big mistakes made
by the USA, UK, France, Germany, Turkey, Japan and other free democracies.
I'm sure all will agree that one of the main problems with all
nations is corruption (less with free nations). I think publicly financed campaigns
will reduce political corruption. And there should be a tax incentive to all
citizens to vote in all elections. I also propose using
another tool to collect public taxes fairly from the wealthy and the
poor called a FlexTax.
IF YOU DON'T
DREAM...NOTHING HAPPENS...
